Mirantis, UCloud launch UMCloud JV in China

Mirantis, a US-based B2B cloud computing services company, and Chinese public cloud provider UCloud have launched a joint venture to accelerate adoption of the OpenStack open cloud infrastructure service for finance, telecom, state-owned enterprises and large internet businesses in China. Dubbed UMCloud, the newly established joint venture will be led by CEO and founder Xinhua Ji, with headquarter offices in Shanghai, China.
