Mitel revenues jump 158% in Q4, helped by cloud strategy

Mitel reported strong fourth revenue growth, helped by its cloud strategy. CEO Rich McBee said the company ended the year with an installed UCaaS subscriber base of over 1.1 million seats, and with UCaaS revenue jumping 158 percent from the year before. MiCloud seats installed via service providers in Europe also crossed the 1 million mark. Mitel is now the number 2 UCaaS market share leader globally, based on total recurring seats installed. More than 100,000 recurring cloud seats were added during the quarter, bringing the total to 1.126 million.
