Mitratel acquires 6,000 Telkomsel towers for IDR 10 trillion

Telkom Indonesia's telecom tower subsidiary Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (Mitratel) has agreed to acquire 6,050 towers from sister company Telkomsel for IDR 10.3 trillion (approximately USD 700 million). Mitratel and Telkomsel have announced they have signed a conditional sales and purchase agreement for this transaction. Following the completion of the acquisition, Mitratel will manage more than 22,000 towers.
