Mobile money marketplace to reach USD 1 tln by 2015

The mobile money marketplace, from mobile banking, payments and coupons to loyalty programmes and connected retail devices, will account for USD 1 trillion in revenue by 2015, according to a research by Yankee Group. The mobile money marketplace is continuing to grow worldwide, with more and more players jumping on board to reap the benefits, researchers said. For now, NFC is struggling in commerce. Only a little more than a quarter of payment decision-makers believe NFC is ready for payments prime time, and researchers predict that NFC will not overtake QR code usage until 2016. Consumers
