Mobile payment service Zuum ceases operations in Brazil

Mobile payments company Zuum, which resulted from a joint venture by Telefonica and Mastercard, has ceased trading in Brazil, reports Mobile Time. Zuum was the last remaining mobile money initiative associated with a mobile operator in Brazil. Previously, Oi Paggo, Meu Dinheiro Claro and TIM Multibank Caixa had stopped their operations.
