Mobile services account for nearly 6 in 10 Mexican telecom complaints in Q1

Mexico's 'Soy Usuario' online consumer platform received a total of 4,529 complaints in the first quarter of 2019, down from 5,034 received in the October to December period, according to the country's Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) and consumer protection agency Profeco. Nearly 6 in 10 (58.5%) of the complaints corresponded to mobile telephony services, 14.8 percent to internet services and 8.3 percent to mobile broadband, said the IFT.
