Mobile telephony, internet receive most complaints in Mexico

Mobile telephony and internet services accounted for over 63 percent of complaints received on the online platform "Soy Usuario", according to a report from Mexico's Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT). In the period ranging from 01 February to 30 April, the platform received a total of 3,147 complaints, of which 33.1 percent corresponded to the mobile telephony services, 30.4 percent to internet, 19.7 percent to pay-TV, 16.5 percent to fixed telephony and 0.3 percent to the wireless or trunking service. Some 62.4 percent of the complaints received were related to service failures,
