Mobile video data use by millennials triples in one year

Mobile video consumption by US millennial users aged 18 to 34 tripled to nearly 15GB per month in Q2 2016, up from 5GB the year earlier, according to a report from NPD. Although the figure includes mobile video consumption on Wi-Fi networks, the introduction of zero-rated data plans from mobile operators will only accelerate this trend, as users will be able to stream video content without using their data allowance.
