Mobilis revenues up 20% in H1, EBITDA jumps 30%

Mobilis revenues increased by 20 percent year-on-year in the first half to DZD 57.2 billion, while EBITDA rose by 30 percent to DZD 21.3 billion. The operator stated that it had overtaken its mobile rivals by reaching an overall customer base of 16.5 million at the end of June. The company also claimed market leadership in second quarter revenues, which amounted to DZD 30.4 billion (USD 275.6 million), compared to DZD 27.4 billion reported by Djezzy and USD 252 million disclosed by Ooredoo Algeria.
