Mobilise, iPass deploy Wi-Fi service at Copenhagen Airport

US company Mobilise Technology, which provides consultancy, software and managed services to the Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) market, and mobile connectivity supplier iPass, havem announced a new service for Copenhagen Airport passengers, called CPH Travel Wi-Fi Service. Copenhagen Airport is the largest in Scandinavia, serving 29 million passengers each year.

The Wi-Fi Travel service will be offered as a one, two, three or six-month subscription, with no time or usage limits. Prices start at DKK 109.50 per month. Users will be able to access the service on PC, Mac, iOS and Android devices, and connect up to three devices at a time.  Users will not have to contend with advertising or splash screens.

The Mobilise Hotspots service will provide mobile application, e-commerce site, billing system and supporting payment services on a managed basis for Copenhagen Airport. The iPass SmartConnect SDK has been used to embed global Wi-Fi connectivity into the app. This can be used on aeroplanes, at airports, hotels, railway stations, convention centres, outdoor venues and public spaces in more than 120 countries.
