Mobility remains preferred sector for corporate venture capital funds in France – study

Wednesday 22 May 2019 | 12:50 CET | News
Mobility continued to strengthen its lead among the sectors targeted by corporate venture capital (CVC) funds in France, according to the third edition of the annual study commissioned on the topic by Deloitte and Orange Digital Ventures. In 2018, 54 percent of CVC funds participating in the survey said that they invested in the mobility sector, up from 50 percent in 2017. After a good performance last year, the fintech sector saw the trend drastically reversing (21% down from 44%), while the cleantech/energy market segment experienced a significant gain in popularity (29% up from 19%).
