Mobility revenues forecast to reach USD 1.7 tln in 2020

Worldwide mobility revenues are forecast to grow to more than USD 1.7 trillion in 2020 from USD 1.5 trillion in 2016, according to a report by IDC. This represents a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.2 percent, or roughly USD 40 billion in annual revenue gains. Mobility revenues will primarily come from consumer and enterprise purchases of hardware and services.
