Mobinil claims cheapest smartphone with Klif Firefox

Orange has launched the Flif smartphone developed with Mozilla at its Egyptian subsidiary Mobinil. Made by Alcatel, the phone runs the Firefox 2.0 operating system and will sell for EGP 275. It features a dual-core 1.0GHz processor, dual SIM, 3.5 inch HVGA screen, 2MP rear camera with LED flash, 1300 mAh battery, 512MB storage and 256MB RAM. The phone also provides FM radio as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G. Mobinil claims the Klif is the cheapest smartphone in the market. It's sold bundled with the Control Free 15 or 40 plan, free for the first six months.
