Modu unveils modular mobile phone

israeli start-up Modu has unveiled a modular mobile phone. The Modu phone can be slipped into a wide variety of modu jackets - stylishly designed phone enclosures - and modu mates - modu-enabled consumer electronics devices. The company has already signed distribution agreements for the product with Telecom Italia, VimpelCom and Cellcom in Israel, with the first models expected to hit the market in Q4.
