Monica Aspe confirmed as AT&T Mexico CEO

After occupying the position on an interim basis for almost a year, AT&T Mexico has now confirmed the appointment of Monica Aspe Bernal as its CEO. She was promoted from vice president of external affairs to the chief executive role last April, replacing Laurent Therivel, who left the company to pursue other projects. In a statement, AT&T Latin America CEO and global marketing director Lori Lee said Aspe has "demonstrated the kind of vision, courage and tenacity needed to successfully lead AT&T" over the past 11 months.
