Montenegro to start installation of DTT equipment

The Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro announced that the installation of DTT broadcasting equipment should be completed by the end of the summer, when Montenegro will start the switch from analogue to digital broadcasting, reports local radio station Antena M. According to the director of the transmission unit Radiodifuzni Centar, Zeljko Nikolic, there will be a simulcast period of six months, with digital coverage being introduced by region – North, South and Central. He added that DTT boxes currently cost EUR 50-60 but he expects their price will fall in the coming period.
