Montpellier announces PayByPhone parking

Motorists in Montpellier, France, can now pay for parking using PayByPhone, joining 40 other French cities offering the mobile payment system, including Paris, Nantes, Nice, Toulon, Nîmes, Calais, Dunkirk and Le Havre, and twenty cities in the Paris region, such as Issy-les-Moulineaux and Boulogne-Billancourt. PayByPhone is the market leader with over 250,000 parking spaces across the country. The system works on all mobile phones, irrespective of operator and operating system, as well as via the internet. The service is also available through QR codes and NFC tags.
