Moody's confirmed its B2 rating for Alcatel-Lucent and downgraded its outlook from stable to negative, citing a weak treasury position, AFP reports. The credit ratings agency said it does not think the group will be able to reduce its cash burn materially below EUR 620 million adjusted level of 2011. It speaks of a growing uncertainty about Alcatel-Lucent's ability to generate cashflow. The company's cash burn in the second quarter, EUR 650 million, was EUR 130 million higher than in the year-earlier period.
