More than 1.4 million Portuguese listen to radio via internet

Around 1.44 million Portuguese aged 15 years and over listen to internet radio, equal to 16.9 percent of the population group, according to research by Marktest. Individuals aged 25-34 are most likely to use internet radio, at 30.5 percent, while usage falls as age increases, only 1.7 percent of the 64+ age group. By gender, the habit is more balanced, at 19 percent of men and 15 percent among women. The residents of Greater Lisbon listen the most, with a penetration rate of 20 percent.
