More than half of Germans are sanguine about digitisation

More than half of people in Germany expect digitisation to improve prosperity, and three quarters of businesses now have a digital strategy, according to a survey that digital association Bitkom presented at the CeBIT trade fair. Only 33 percent of people expect a fall in economic wellbeing. Nearly two thirds (63%) of respondents, who were aged at least 14 years old, saw digitisation as an opportunity for the German economy, whereas 33 percent saw it as a threat.
