More than one fifth of Germans use mobile banking apps

Slightly more than one fifth (21%) of Germans older than 18 regularly uses mobile banking services with 12 percent using mobile banking frequently, according to a survey executed by market researcher YouGov for German internet economy federation Eco. The study found that mobile banking apps are mostly used by young people with 38 percent of Germans between 18 and 24 years old and 36 percent of the 25-34 years old compared to only 8 percent of Germans older than 54 years.
