Thursday 9 April 2020 | 14:33 CET | News
Online consumer shopping habits have changed considerably in Spain during the coronavirus lockdown in place since 16 March, according to a study by Nielsen Media. Mornings have now become the new e-shopping 'prime time', with 31 percent of internet users buying goods online from 9am to 3pm, compared to 22 percent a year earlier. In the same period in 2019, a total of 45 percent of online shoppers bought goods between 6pm and 10pm, a figure that has fallen by 14 percentage points to 31 percent since Spain's "state of alarm" was announced.
