Most German children play computer, video games

The majority (93%) of German children and youths aged 10-18 play computer and video games, according to research released by ICT industry group Bitkom. On average, 10-18 year olds play 104 minutes a day on their PC, games console or mobile phone. Average playing time increases with age, with 10-12 year olds playing for 76 minutes a day, compared to 111 minutes for 11-15 and 124 minutes for 16-18 year olds.
