Most German companies see digitisation as opportunity

A vast majority (96%) of German companies in relevant sectors embrace digitisation as an opportunity while only a few focus on the risks, according to a recent Bitkom survey among companies of the car manufacturing, banking, media pharmaceutical and tourism industry. In these five economic sectors, 37 percent of the companies asked regard themselves as pioneers of digitisation, while 56 percent see themselves as trailing and 8 percent as far behind.
