Most Germans to send digital holiday greetings- Bitkom

Almost two thirds (62%) of Germans will send digital greetings from their holidays this year, according to a survey by ICT industry group Bitkom. The survey found that 40 percent of holidaymakers plan to call friends, relatives and colleagues on the phone; 1 in 3 (34%) plan to use messaging services like WhatsApp or iMessage or send an SMS; 1 in 10 (10%) plan to send greetings via e-mail' and 9 percent will contact people through social networks such as Facebook or Twitter.
