Most Germans use their tablets at home

Nearly all (91%) of German tablet owners use their devices at home, according to a recent survey conducted by IT association Bitkom. Every third respondent (30%) uses their tablet exclusively at home, while 31 percent said they use it mainly at home. The same amount of participants (30%) use it equally at home and outside. Only 6 percent of respondents mainly or exclusively use it outside their homes. Some 82 percent of the persons asked, who use their tablet at home, do it on the sofa, followed by the balcony or the garden or in bed (50%); 47 percent use it at a desk, 39 percent in the
