Most online shoppers read reviews before buying - survey

Almost three quarters (72%) of online shoppers in Germany read reviews of other customers before they make a purchase, according to a survey by ICT industry group Bitkom. Reading online reviews before making an online purchase is most popular amongst 14-29 year olds (79%), falling to 73 percent of 30-49 year olds, 66 percent of 50-64 year olds, and 64 percent of over 65s.
