Most Swedish councils have at least begun a broadband plan

Nine out of ten local councils in Sweden have established, updated or begun work on a broadband strategy, according to an annual survey by postal and telecoms regulator PTS, the association of local and regional councils (SKL), and the Swedish Broadband Forum. The survey is in its fifth year and shows that the rate of councils that have set up or updated their strategies has risen from 43 percent to 62 percent.
