Motiv expands backbone and LTE networks

Russian regional operator Motiv has expanded the coverage of its fibre-optic backbone network in Northern part of the Yugra region and in the Yekaterinburg region. It has laid 2,500 km of optical fibre in sixteen settlements with more than 196,000 residents, which will make its broadband, OTT and other services available there. Motiv has previously provided mobile services over satellite and radio-relay lines in those areas.
