Motorola lifts FY guidance as Q3 tops expectations

Motorola Solutions raised its full-year revenue and earnings guidance following the report of a strong quarter, and upped its dividend by 11 percent to USD 0.52 per share. Revenues beat expectations, rising 7 percent from the year before to USD 1.645 billion, while adjusted earnings per share went up 12 percent to USD 1.53. The company had guided for revenues up 3-4 percent and adjusted EPS at USD 1.36-1.41.
