Motorola Solutions sees revenue decline continuing in Q2

Motorola Solutions reported first-quarter revenues down 9 percent year-on-year to USD 1.801 billion, in line with its earlier profit warning. Government sales fell 11 percent to USD 1.2 billion, after a strong quarter a year earlier in the US federal business and weaker-than-expected Astro and professional radio business in North America. This offset strong Tetra sales. Enterprise segment sales declined 4 percent to USD 600 million, amid the continued decline in the iDen market and a delay to several deals late in the quarter, primarily in North America. As a result, operating profit fell 21
