Movincon's m-payment tech tested in Altavilla Vicentina

Movincom, the national consortium developing mobile payments in Italy, has announced the launch of a three-month long m-payment pilot service by AIM Group's AIM Mobilita and Magic Bus, a transport company in Altavilla Vicentina, a town and commune in the province of Vicenza. As of 18 March, the service will enable people to order tickets for four bus routes in Altavilla Vicentina via their mobile phones. The service uses Movincom's mobile payment technology platform Beemov. Fares can be paid by sending a text message or scanning QR codes displayed in bus stations with a smartphones.
