Movistar Chile first to launch customer data sharing

Wednesday 12 June 2019 | 12:15 CET | News
Movistar Chile (Telefonica) said it's become the first operator in the country to offer customers the ability to share data between various mobile lines contracted to the same subscriber. Under the new feature, subscribers to the operator's postpay plans, ranging from "Talla S" to "Libre HD", will be able to share their GB with other postpay users. Customers simply need to click on the "Share gigas" option on the Mi Movistar app or desktop portal and select the amount of data they wish to share with up to 5 lines.
