Movistar Chile revamps IPTV platform with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube deals

Movistar Chile (Telefonica) announced a deal with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube to add direct access to the corresponding apps and content as part of a major revamp of its IPTV service. Starting 29 May, subscribers to the operator's fibre-optic based Duo Pack offers will be able to access a new interface via the Movistar TV 4K set-top box, with 13 live TV channels including Bio Bio TV, UCV3 and 11 channels from the Arcatel network as well as one-click links to the Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and YouTube Kids platforms.
