Movistar completes Buenos Aires metro LTE rollout

Movistar Argentina (Telefonica) has announced that its 4G network now covers 97 percent of stations on the Buenos Aires metro, with only 3 stations on Line H yet to receive the service. In a statement, the operator said 42 percent of the mobile traffic on the underground network already uses 4G technology, with traffic volume tripling over the past year. In May alone there were 600,000 LTE users on the metro.
