Movistar Mexico launches Smart Location Analytics service

Telefonica, which operates under the Movistar brand in Mexico, has launched a new service designed to help businesses choose where to open stores and make a prediction of sales based on geographic and historical sales data. The platform is called Smart Location Analytics and allows businesses to plan and execute expansion strategies by identifying market opportunities, measuring sales potential and predicting business performance using Big Data, Machine Learning and Geospatial Intelligence technologies.
