Movistar Mexico to invest MXN 3 bln in LTE in 3 years

Movistar Mexico expects to invest MXN 3 billion in the next three years to deploy 4G LTE services in 200 cities across the country, Cronica reports, citing the company's networks director Omar Calvo. According to the executive, this network deployment will enable Movistar to reach 80 percent of the country's urban population with LTE services. Last week, the operator launched 4G LTE services in Mexico City.
