Movistar Spain revamps mobile data plans, unveils 5 GB offer

With the expansion of 4G networks and data-hungry apps signalling an explosion in mobile data usage, Movistar Spain has lowered its mobile data tariffs and launched a 5 GB module for EUR 30 per month, which it describes as the most competitive in the market. The operator is now offering an extra 500 MB of mobile data to all its mobile or Fusion customers for EUR 6 per month, while the 1 GB and 3 GB versions are available for EUR 10 and EUR 20 per month respectively (down from EUR 12.10 and EUR 36.30).
