mPOS provider Jusp raises USD 6 mln in first round

Jusp, an Italian company operating in the mobile POS hot market, is ready to launch and accelerate its development after having just closed a USD 6 million equity round with two prominent Italian venture capital firms. The round was led by Principia together with Vertis with the participation of angel investors Stefano Calderano (previously BNP Paribas and Intesa), Paolo Guida (Lehman), Giulio Valiante (Saldi Privati and Jobrapido), Simone Ranucci Brandimarte (Glamoo) and Bruno Spadoni (Setefi) who also led the first USD 700,000 seed investment made in 2012.
