M:tel supports telemedicine project in Montenegro

At the initiative of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG), Montenegrin operator m:tel is developing a project to connect hospitals in Pljevlja, Berane and Bar with the Clinical Center of Montenegro. It will enable patient data from these centres to be sent to the KCCG as a reference health institution at the tertiary level, reports Vijesti. Doctors in the local hospitals will immediately receive expert opinions so that patients can be treated locally.
