MTG agrees to form gaming joint venture between ESL and China's Huya

Modern Times Group (MTG) said it has agreed a binding term sheet and formed a joint venture under which Chinese live game streaming platform Huya will acquire a minority stake in Turtle Entertainment (ESL). The investment is USD 30 million, made up of both primary and secondary shares. ESL and Huya plan to host Chinese electronic sport competitions as part of the global ESL tournament calendar.
