MTN Cameroon launches university fees payment

MTN Cameroon has launched a new service for students to pay their university registration and tuition fees over MTN Mobile Money. The Mobile Money service makes it possible for students to pay their fees without having to stand in long queues at university campuses. A Mobile Money account number is assigned to each school. If necessary, the student can get a receipt of payment at a MTN agency. The payment of registration fees via Mobile Money was successfully tested at the University of Buea last year.
