MTN closes stores as precaution after xenophobic attacks

MTN Group has reiterated its stand against any form of xenophobia and damage to property and said it remains concerned about the situation in its markets, especially in Nigeria and South Africa. In a statement, MTN confirmed that over the last day four MTN outlets in Nigeria have been the subject of attacks and it has had to close some stores in Johannesburg.
