MTN comes closer to USD 800 mln Nigeria settlement - report

MTN Group is close to reaching a USD 800 million settlement with Nigerian authorities over a claim it illegally transferred USD 8.1 billion funds out of the country, Bloomberg reported, citing a person familiar with the situation. A deal has not been signed and could yet fall through, said the person, who asked not to be identified as the talks are still going on.
