MTN Ghana MoMo offers medical insurance for vendors

MTN Mobile Money (MoMo), a subsidiary of MTN Ghana, is offering insurance in partnership with Enterprise Life Insurance and GGMB Brokers, for Mobile Money (MoMo) vendors. Its 190,000 or so vendors will receive GHS 500 in support to help defray hospital bills. Eli Hini, general manager for Mobile Money, said the scheme will apply in the event of death, robbery attack, disability, critical ailment and hospitalisation.
