MTN Ghana offers free transactions on mobile money, increases spending limits

MTN Ghana says its offering free transactions on its mobile money services as part of efforts to support government's intervention to control the spread of Covid-19. The incentives approved by the Bank of Ghana look to enable customers to adopt mobile money for financial transactions to minimize the risk posed by cash handling. The incentives took effect from 20 March and will end after three months.
