MTN Ghana raises GHC 1.1 bln in IPO

MTN Ghana raised GHC 1.1 billion selling about one third of its shares in its initial public offering (IPO), Bloomberg reported, citing a document from the company.  MTN sold 1.5 billion of the 4.6 billion shares at GHP 0.75 each after offering a 35 percent stake in May. The shares will be listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange from 05 September 2018, according to the sale prospectus.
