MTN Ghana revenue rises 21% in Q1

MTN Ghana said revenue increased by 20.6 percent to GHS 1.44 billion in the first quarter ended 31 March from GHS 1.19 billion in the same period of 2019. Service revenue went up by 20.4 percent to GHS 1.43 billion from GHS 1.85 billion a year earlier. EBITDA surged by 34.5 percent to GHS 768 million from GHS 570 million and the EBITDA expanded to 53.4 percent from 47 percent. Net profit increased by 62.1 percent to GHS 349.65 million from GHS 215.76 million in 2019.
