MTN Ghana signs 5-year internet deal with KNUST

MTN Ghana has agreed with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to offer stable and stronger internet connectivity for the school.The five-year commercial contract which is worth in excess of GHS 3 million will run from this year till 2020. It includes laying and construction of fibre-optic cables, new MTN mobile sites and Wi-Fi access to boost connectivity on campus, including all 16 halls. Six traditional halls of the university will access MTN services free of charge as part of MTN's corporate social responsibility program.
