MTN group eyes Ethiopian market for expansion

MTN Group said it has identified Ethiopia as a rare new market into which the group wants to expand following the country's change of policy to open its boundaries to foreign investments, Bloomberg reported. CEO Rob Shuter said there are a few large markets that are under-penetrated and where there is scope to become the number one or two operator, and this is includes Ethiopia, where the group is interested to penetrate.
